Here are a few photos showing the new roofs, windows, paint, boardwalk, and new kitchens!

Hope to see you soon at Northwest Point Resort!
It has been a long journey after the two hurricanes back in September but Northwest Point is almost fully repaired and will have many improvements. The new roof looks great and the condos have been fully painted and new hurricane windows and doors are being installed. The kitchens will be brand new (even though the old ones were still in perfect shape). New curtains, bedding and even new pillows for that perfect sleep! Here are a few photos taken a couple days ago. We hope you will plan a trip to wonderful Provo and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Bookings as of June www.nwpresort.com.
Wonderful Apartment. Perfect for families

We had a wonderful stay at Hugh and Magdalena apartment and highly recommend it! Hugh & Magdalena were very helpful before the trip; they gave us great directions and tips. They also checked in on us throughout our stay to ensure everything was OK. Onsite there are lots of staff at the complex and we felt they took excellent care of the property. The apartment and complex were perfect for our family of 4. The apartment was extremely clean and much more spacious than it looked in the photos. I’m sure if there were 3 couples or 2 families you would enjoy this apartment and never feel that you were on top of each other. The terrace is great, there is a covered area where we ate all of our meals, and there is an uncovered section. As our kids still nap in the afternoon we spent a lot of time here and were completely relaxed and comfortable. We never felt squished. We enjoyed relaxing on the sofas and also on the patio. It was great that there were fans and A/C in all rooms. We loved having the washer/dryer which looked new. It is convenient that this apartment was close to the BBQ and the pool on the ground floor. As our children are young we were constantly returning to the apartment to get things they forgot. That said the apartment is very quiet. And the terrace is extremely private. Though there seemed to be many people at the resort, we never heard any noise from outside once we were in the apartment and never had trouble finding a chair on the beach or at the pool. The resort was an excellent choice for us. The pool area is great. Our kids loved it. We loved the hot tub. The beach is nice, though there is seaweed in the section in front of the complex. Walking a little further to the north, we found stunning stretches of deserted beach. It was great for my morning runs and shell finding with the kids. Staying here you definitely need a car. The food in restaurants was okay, so we enjoyed that we could cook at the apartment. Having a car also meant we could explore the island. We visited many different beaches and enjoyed sunset picnics at Malcom’s Road beach – things you could not have done easily without a car. I would highly recommend this resort for families and groups. We explored the entire island and loved having this as our base. Thanks again Hugh and Magdalena!

Amazing Condo and best beach in Turks and Caicos! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I visited Turks and Caicos for our honeymoon. The island is unique and extremely beautiful. We highly recommend Northwest Point Resort if you are going to Turks ans Caicos. The Unit was very clean and even better than the pictures. It had the most comfortable bed and amazing breezes on those hot days. The unit was steps away from the pool which made it nice and quick to and from our room. The condo owners were super nice, they were very helpful with tips and they were quick to respond to any questions we had before our trip. When we checked, they made sure we arrived safe and we were comfortable throughout our stay, making sure we had WiFi connection (which worked perfectly) there was a huge fruit basket with fresh delicious fruit waiting for us to enjoy. One thing about this resort that I have to mention that you will not get at any other resort, is the...BEACH. This resort had the best beach front on the entire island with miles of white sand. It was both relaxing and serene. The resort was perfection in every way and we would definitely come back again and recommend it to all our friends and family.
Three bedroom Condo -- On floor 1 1570 sq. ft.
This unit is ground floor for easy mobility access but there are curbs and some steps by pool and to parking lot.
The unit is very private with two decks (one covered) looking towards the ocean. You see sunrises from the deck. The unit is a bit further from the pool and center of the resort which makes it a quiet place. There is night security and we have never felt unsafe here or anywhere on the island.
Three large Bedrooms: pillow top queen beds. Unit offers great space for groups up to 6 people.
Bathrooms: 2 Bathrooms: toilet, shower and tub
We really enjoyed our stay in the condo of Hugh & Magdalena. Very easy to find, you don’t need a 4x4 to drive there even if the last few km are not paved. As suggested by Hugh & Magdalena, we stopped first for some food at IGA on the way from the airport to the condo. When we arrived we found a basket of fresh fruits, some bottles of water in the fridge and air-conditioning on. What a great welcome! The condo has all what you need as described by the owners and was perfectly clean when we arrived. In case of problems or questions, Hugh & Magdalena were always available for support. The resort has an exclusive beach right in front with some beautiful coral gardens nearby. From the beach it’s possible to walk right into the NW Point National Park where you can easily find some beautiful conch shells. Close by there’s also the beautiful Malcom Road beach though a 4x4 is recommended to get there Don’t be afraid by the distance of the condo from Grace Bay or other beaches because in 20/30 minutes you can easily reach any point of the island. If you look for a quiet place where to relax, this is definitively the place to choose. Personally, I would never exchange it for Grace Bay. Roberto & Benedetta
During morning coffee on our beautiful deck I heard a strange buzzing sound. Upon a quick explore I saw Donald with his drone taking shots of NWPR. He graciously offered to take a few of us enjoying our patio!
Reviewed yesterday NEWvia mobileWe just got back from our 10 day stay at Northwest Point in Turks and Caicos. It was everything we were looking for. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The place was kept very well. We rented a one bedroom condo and it was enough space for the two of us. Our unit was B1-111. I have to say this was our first time thru Trip Advisor and everything went very smoothly. I was in touch with the owner before our trip and he answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. Renting a car is a must because of its location. We did a lot of sightseeing on our own and went to many different types of restaurants as well as visiting other beaches. The beach and pool at Northwest Point were really enjoyable. We are definitely coming back to Northwest Point asap. We loved it!
Today is Wednesday already, and Kim and I have to agree that this is one of the best winter vacations that we have ever been on. We just wanted to pass on to you what we like very much about Unit B1-111, and what concerns we think you might want to address with the management team at Northwest Point Resort. First of all, we love this location! It is secluded and quiet and far from the crowds. We had the beach and pool to ourselves almost everyday. When we did go downtown for excursions and groceries, we could not wait to get back to this beautiful remote Resort. The landscaping and grounds are beautiful. Manicured just enough to look nice, yet still wild enough to feel natural. It is truly a gem. The beach is perfect. Maybe not as groomed as Grace Bay - but that is entirely okay with us. A nice combination of sand bottom, coral, and weed. Perfect for swimming or snorkelling. Every day someone raked the beach for us. The cleanliness of your unit is to be commended. We tried to keep it that way everyday, to keep the wildlife (insects) unfed. It is an excellent benefit to have dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. We also like the location, which is close to the important things. Charles and Debbie looked in on us several times to ensure that we found our way and were comfortable. They are nice people to work with. The appliances all worked fine - the blender, the coffee maker, the microwave oven, the toaster, the refrigerator, and the range. We will admit the Wifi is sub standard. It only worked for us at poolside. I realize this is an issue of the Resort, and I spoke to Charles about it. He admitted that nine out of ten complaints he receives is about this. Thanks for the recommendation to try Somewhere Restaurant . It was excellent. We enjoyed the view from the upper bar. I had the Ribs and Kim had the Flank steak. We finished a bottle of Argentinian Malbec while we watched the sun set. We also went to Da Conch Shack on Wednesday and they had live entertainment on the beach. The food was great (tried the Cracked Conch, Johnny Fries, Conch Stew, and Fish Taco) and the entertainment was also very good. We even danced! I don't know if this is good or bad, but the place was infested with children. We also went to the Thursday night weekly community Fish Fry in Lower Bight at the Children's Park. Although it is a little pricey, it is definitely worth the experience. The food is good and you get to rub shoulders with locals and other tourists.
We are glad you had a great time and enjoyed our place. Debbie keeps our place so clean and we try to include everything our guests would like including beach chairs and beach umbrella etc. We too love snorkelling and always bring our gear as we use it back home too. When we come down in March we will bring two sets and leave for guests to use. Glad you liked the restaurants and places we recommended. The WiFi is being addressed at the Resort and we hope that soon it will be a much better system. We hope you stay with us again. You are always welcome!
About the owners: Magdalena and Hugh are school Principals in Vancouver BC. They love to travel the world and on one of their trips stopped in on Turks and Caicos and just had to have a place to call home! They hope you fall in love with the island too and hope you enjoy the stay at their place. .
